GlisterrMC is hosted on the Java edition of Minecraft. If you play on Bedrock edition, sometimes called just "Minecraft," don't worry! It turns out that

How to install the mods

Due to the mods, joining takes some extra steps, but don't worry, the

instructions are below:

1. You will need to install the Fabric Mod Loader.

The Fabric Mod Loader is a programming tool designed for mod developers

to make modding the game easier. It allows mods to run.

First, decide whether you want to install this on the default Minecraft

Launcher (the one with the creeper face) or a special launcher such as

MultiMC. This tutorial will cover how to install Fabric on the default

launcher.

Visit the following website and download the installer:

https://fabricmc.net/use/installer/

Choose the Download for Windows option. Once installed, run it.

Make sure that your settings in the EXE are the same as mine below.

1.19.2, Loader Version 0.14.22. Then click the Install button.

Once that is done, you will have installed the Fabric Mod Loader.

2. You need to install the mods.

This server has a variety of mods (22) to improve the gameplay

experience. For learning about those mods, visit the support page.

You can download the mods here:

If you have any issues with performance or the mods being too hard to

run, feel free to contact me and we can work it out. Certain mods are

not necessary and can be removed.

3. You need to put the mods in your game folder.

Once you have downloaded the mods, they should all be contained in a zip

file. But you need to get them inside the game. You need to open a

specific folder where in Minecraft's files, drag the mods in, and then

you're done.

This folder is in the %appdata% folder. You can visit this folder by

typing "%appdata%" into your search. If you are on Mac this process

might be a little different so you may need to search how to do that.

Next you will need to enter the .minecraft folder, as seen below.

Finally, once in .minecraft, look for a folder titled "mods."

If this folder does not already exist, create one with that name.

This is important:

Extract the contents of the zip file you just downloaded into the mods folder, and finally, you are ready to join the server!
